OVERVIEW
What, When, WHere:
The NYC Computer Science Opportunity Fair (CS Fair) is New York City's largest annual college and career inspiration event for public high school students studying computer science. For its eighth year, the 2023 CS Fair will take place at the 168th Street Armory on April 25, 2023. Over 2,000 students are expected to engage with companies, interact with computer science organizations, and learn about educational opportunities at colleges and universities. Activities include maker spaces, an “interview experience," Creative Computing, robots, Web 3.0, and more hands-on experiences.
Why:
The CS Fair informs and inspires students about the myriad educational and career opportunities that result from studying CS. The CS Fair also connects tech companies to each other and showcases each one's amazing employees and products.

2020 CS Fair summary
On November 17th and 18th, 2020, NYC high school students and their teachers attended the seventh annual NYC Computer Science Opportunity Fair. For the first time ever, the fair was hosted 100% virtually on a remote platform after the original April 2020 CS Fair was delayed due to COVID. All of our sponsors stuck with us as we made this transition.
